Cyber criminals are jerks. Unfortunately I am not as good with computers as I would like. I get the gist of how things work and can make the magic box on my desk do what I want but I do not understand why companies can't seem to protect against these DDS attacks. What am I missing? I have been hearing about them for so long now. Our state website was even hit by some Russian weenie hacker last month. Why can't states, countries, corporations, etc. find some way to counter these attacks?
