Daawat-e-Ishq invites you all to watch this sweet, romantic (and aromatic) movie which is soon going to be released in the movie hall near your place. The ‘Ishaqzaade’ director Habib Faisal is the director of this romantic comedy movie which is a yet another movie which is being produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, under Aditya Chopra.
As you all know by now, the main leads of Daawat-e-Ishq are the “Aashiqui 2” actor Aditya Roy Kapur and the “Hasee Toh Phasee” actress Parineeti Chopra. The movie is all set to be released on the 19th of this month, 2014. The movie revolves around the fact that love is very similar to food and has different moods. The whole idea which states that love can be spicy, sweet, sour, and bitter, just like food, is the main theme of the story in this movie Daawat-e-Ishq.
In the movie, Parineeti is a shoe sales girl from Hyderabad whereas Tariq (played by Aditya Roy Kapur) is from Lucknow and is a cook by profession. The story takes us to the bitter sweet occurrences between the ‘Gullu’ (Parineeti) and ‘Tariq’ or ‘Taru’ and how they write their own, original, conventional love story with each other. Apart from Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra you will also get to see Anupam Kher, Sunny Deol, Sumit Gaddi and Karan Wahi.
While promoting the movie Daawat-e-Ishq, Parineeti and Aditya gorged on some of the most delicious food items all over the country. It was a truly food fest during the shoots of this movie and also while promoting the movie all across India. Right from Mughlai cuisine to Gujrathi thalis, the cast and crew of Daawat-e-Ishq had tasted almost every Indian cuisine present. Plus they also had a chance to do a photo shoot in front of the Taj Mahal which according to both the leads of the movie felt surreal.
