About the Show

Dancing with the Stars is the dance competiton show in all over America to promote the talent starting since 2005 on ABC channel in the United States. The Co-host in the show was Lisa Canning was in season one and change has been made in season two the co-host was Samantha Harris and posted till the season nine and than in season ten Brooke Borke-Charvetand replaced her for the season till the season seventeen and he replaced by Erin Andrews in season 18 and till the present.The show has passed its 21 successful seasons.

Format of the show

The format of the show is based on a pair of dancers in which of them one is a celebrity and the other one is a professional dancer.The celebrity contestants included from the different professions have included professional athletes,models,singer,host of the talk show,journalist,magician and many other TV and real life people involved in it.The couple is getting the lowest percentage of getting votes from the audience and the judges eliminates each week util it reaches to the last champion pair.

Overall Participation

The total of 236 celebrities that have appeared in the total of 21 seasons . For each season and in each season the celebrities are couple with a professional dancer who directs them in the various steps of dance forms and each week they have to undergo through the competition.

Seasons of Dancing with the Stars

Season 1

The first season of the Dancing with the Stars (U.S.) was debuted on ABC Channel on June 1, 2005 with Six celebrities paired with six professional dancers.Tom Bergeron and Lisa Canning played the part as the host of the show. The show drew the attention of 13 million viewers all over the world and the season finale was aired on 6 july 2005.

Season 2  

The Season 2 of Dancing with the stars was air on ABC network on January 5, 2006, and finale on February 24, 2006. This season with the change in which the participants expanded to ten couples. All the professionals dancers in this season were new other than two Alec Mazo and charlotte Jorgensen.The seasons two programs expanded from 1 hour to 90 minutes and no couple is eliminated in the first week of the season 2.

Season 3

Season 3 of Dancing with the stars was air on September, 12 2006 and the finale was on November 15, 2006.The couples expand from ten to eleven in season 3.In this season the voting count system was also slight change the vote only count for 25% from the viewers and also the the points given according to percentage.The votes of the fans handled in the same way with respect to the points.The Finale of season 3 brought the attention of 27.8 Million Viewers all around the Globe which was a history record of Dancing with the stars.

Season 4

Season 4 of the Dancing with the Stars started on March 19 2007 and the Grand Finale of the Season was on May 22 , 2007.In this season the timings as compared to performance on Monday and result show was on Tuesday.There were no eliminations on the first week of the show.In This season all the view got a chance to see all the performances from the participants on one day and a chance to vote the best performer.

Season 5

The season 5th season started on 24 September 2007.The season with the edition of three nights special week and the Season ended on November 27, 2007.

The lowest points were 24 per round in the season in which 8 points are for those who stayed bottom in the leaderboard.

Season 6

Season 6 of Dancing with the stars was premiered on March 17 , 2008.The Season had a two hours special Episode in Celeberations of completing its 100 episodes in the Years.In this season the most numbers are given on most occasions by the judges were 29 in several weeks of the season.

 Season 7

The Season was air on 22 September 2008 and The Grand Finale of the season was on 25 November 2008.There was a slight change with respect to couples in this Season there were 13 couples line up to perform in this season instead of 12.This season introduces 4 new dancing styles like The Salsa,The Hustle,The west coast swing and The Jitter Bug and in last which was the part in all seasons as Team Dancing.The Special thing was happened in this season that 30 points were given only to the Winners of the season.

Season 8

The season 8 was started on 9 March 2009 and The Grand Finale of the season aired on 19 May 2009.Although the formate of the show was the same like the previous season but a slight change in the dancing styles and steps like Hip Hop and Tango dance was also introduced in this season.On the basis of this styles of dancing the least dancers had been eliminated.

Season 9

The season 9 of the show started on 21 September 2009 and The grand Finale of the show was on 24 November 2009.The full cast of the show was opened on August 17 2009.Many of the judges and the hosts of the show were temporarily replaced in the season.Otherwise the show went on with same tempo and the styles of dancing were the same in the previous season.

Season 10

The season 10 was broadcast on March 22, 2010 and The grand Finale of the Season was on 25 May 2010.There were 11 contestants in the season 10.The result show that was previously shown in past seasons on 9 p.m shown on 8 p.m.The name of the Room of the season was change from Ball room to Red Room.Prepared with the glass walls and balcony was prepared where after performance the host receive the comments from the contestants and the big screen is attached to see the performance live.

Season 11

Season 11 of Dancing with the Stars started on 20 September 2010 and The Grand Finale of the Season was broadcast on 23 November 2010 and the cast which relates all the performers,Judges and hosts of the was revealed on 30 August 2010.Slight changes has been made in this season " The Acoustic Week" was introduced in which the couples offer to perform on their choices Rumba or Tango and the performance stage was also very wide to bring the audience closer to the performers.

Season 12

The season was air on 21 March 2011 and The Grand Finale of the season was on 24 May 2011.The host of the show was Brooke Burke and in the judging Pannel Len Goodman came back for the season.

The season 13 was air on 19 September 2011 and the Grand Finale of the show was on 22 November 2011 but this time 12 contestants were competing in the show.Only for the first time in the history of the show the Winner is getting 9 million votes.

The season was air on 19 march 2012 and The Grand Finale of the season was on 22 May 2012 in which the Orchestra and the singers were provided to perform the dancing steps as needed.

 Season 15

The season started in September 24, 2012 and The Grand Finale of the Season was on 27 November 2012.This season of the Dancing with the Stars was very short and the name of the this season was " Dancing With the Stars All-Stars" in this season the contestants who competed in the last seasons going to compete each other in this season  and they have their another chance to win the show.That was the only first season in which final three were women and it has been seen again for last time in season 18.

Season 16

season 16 of the Dancing With the Stars was air on 18 March 2013 and The Grand Finale of the Season was air on 21 May 2013.This was also centre of attraction due to females.The majority of the performers who were taking part in the season 16 were females.That was the fourth win to Derek Hough and receiving his fourth mirror ball trophy.

Season 17

This season was air on 16 September 2013 and The Grand Finale of the season was on 26 November 2013.In this season a light change was in the Sitting area of the performers where now they have to seat near the judges table,that is opposite from the ballroom.A make up room and the rehearsal room where the hosts came to chat with the performers.In this season the voting format was slightly change and each week couple should perform and the couple with the best votes pass forward and the couple with the lowest votes will be eliminated from the show.

The winning couple of the season 17 was name as Amber Riely and Derek Hough and she was the first African American woman to win.

Season 18

This season's was air on 17 March 2014 and The Grand Finale of the season was on 20 May 2014.This added a new feature in this respect called "The Switch Up" Twist in which The Viewers allow through vote to change the professional partner of any of the performing group.

This season was air on 16 Mach 2015 and the season's Grand Finale was on 19 May 2015.This season has the honour the Celeberate its 10 Anniversary of the Show and the winner should receive the 10 Anniversary Gold Mirror ball trophy.

Season 21

This season was air on 14 September 2015 and The Grand Finale of the season will be air on 24 November as expected and this show is going on. Nine Professional dancers who are taking part in it revealed on 19 August 2015.

The bests of the best performance given by the couple of Derek Hough and Bindi Irwin on The dance formate Argentine Tango in the Week 7 of the season 21 in Halloween Night.
