Shortly after graduating from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he began producing animated music videos for British Musician Stephen Coates (The Real), also known as the Clerknwell Kid. Most of Budovsky’s award winning productions has been animated films, music videos and even commercial ads. We recommend Middle Class Hell, an animated short that shows his creative work with original drawings by Jim Avigon. Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘The Inferno,’ the Film Annex team created Red Notice,its first original web series. Though not a literal adaptation, Red Notice explores the relationship between Dante and Virgil in a modern setting and creates a world of sin in the heart of Gotham. Throughout the series, our two main characters, Margot (Paige Howe) and Vicky (Lillian Rodriguez) see the dark side of New York City that only night crawlers and adventure seekers get to see.
