In spite of whole hearted efforts from the civic authorities, the dengue scare still continues in the city of Calcutta along with the adjoining areas. The total number of casualties from dengue rose to 19 with another death from the disease on Saturday. Nearly 200 new cases are getting reported daily. It seems that public awareness is the only way to combat the disease. However, the government should provide necessary medical aid and stop spreading the decease by way of precautionary measures.
