Deputy Commissioner Haripur paid surprise visit to Rural Health Centre, Sirikot, Tehsil Ghazi on 10.11.2015 at 09:45 AM.
It is astonishing to note that all staff was not found present except Doctor Gohar Ali, Saira Mehboob, Dental Technician, Yasmeen Bibi, LHV and Naheed Aziz, FMT who were standing in the veranda of the Hospital and waiting for peon to come to open their offices. DC Haripur could not check the attendance register / medicines availability / services being rendered to the patients / cleanliness etc. On inquiry, the Doctor Gohar Ali falsely stated that the rest of the staff of the RHC is on field duty. The matter needs proper probe by the authority concerned as the incharge doctor has not control over his subordinate staff to make them public friendly and bound them for healthcare service delivery to the needy people. If the situation remains the same the facility concerned is inching towards further deterioration.
Staff status has been obtained from District Health Officer, Haripur, according to the report the posts of PMO, SMO, Dental Surgeon, PHC Technician (M.P), JCT Pathology, Chowkidar and Dental Attendant are vacant which need to be filled for providing the services to the patients.
