In the series of book we have studied a lot about environment issues. The environmental issues are one of the most important areas of modern life. Due to the exploitation of the environmental over many countries our planet today is facing many dangers such as extinction of species, depletion of natural resources, global warming, endangered species and depletion of the ozone layer.

Extinction of species

This means the wiping out of species completely from the planet. Many species of animals have vanished from planet in the past and some animals face this danger today like white cheetahs. The non-existent species include the giant panda, snow leopard and green sea turtle.

Depletion of ozone

Ozone is a gas in the atmosphere that protects our planet from the dangerous rays of daylight. It is a special form of oxygen and can be destroyed by harmful chemicals like CFCs emitted from atomizer of paint showers, ACs and Fridges.

Protecting the ozone is the duty of the whole world. We must think of that we have only one planet to live on and it belongs to everyone including those who are not yet born. We must leave this in such a state that the upcoming generations may also enjoy its wonders and have a nice life.
