** Details about the VPAF UH-1 crash today **

- The aircraft is a Bell UH-1, bort number 7912, belongs to the 917th Helicopter Regiment. This is a normal training flight.
- All four crew members were killed in the crash, including:
+ Lieutenant Colonel Trần Văn Đức, Chief of Flight Operation, Vice Chief of Staff, 917th Helicopter Regiment, pilot.
+ Lieutenant Colonel (NCO) Đỗ Văn Chính, flight mechanic.
+ Major Lê Hồng Quân, co-pilot, flight navigation.
+ Lieutenant Nguyễn Viết Cường, trainee.
Remains of the crew members were brought back to the morgue of Minitry of Defense.
- The UH-1 (bort number 7912) has been overhauled and upgraded in Australia in 2013.
