When everything is going fine and grand you will often have a lot of people around you pretending to be your friend. If you are wealthy you will attract the wrong friends because they all just want some of your money. They will want the finer things in life at your expense.

You will see how fast you loose these friends if you ever get broke or faced with a difficult situation. If you have 20 friends around you when times are good, when things are down you may only end up with one.

I had friends that I would party with and spend my hard earn money with. Buying alcohol and having fun and when I was faced with a tragedy in my family those friends were no where to be found. I thought these things were the right thing to do but I learned the hard way. So I speak from experience.

Strangers were more help to me during that time than those friends. The ones that were genuine were very small in numbers.
