Digital Image Processing and its Importance (Part 2)
As we have discussed in the early article of this topic about the digital Image processing and its importance but now here I am going to discuss more about the more importance of this DIP and we will come to know that how our digital Image life become easy and advance by the development of Digital Image Processing.
It is easy to make a small size picture from a large size by using different simple and easy techniques like crop, cuts etc.
When you are given a task to make a large size of image from a small size image then maybe you will feel like uncomfortable and you may be supposed to think that this job is tough and hard. Off course this is tough job but it is not impossible. By using the techniques of Digital Image Processing we can make a high resolution image from a low resolution image. We can increase the size of small image by using a special type of Digital Image Processing techniques while using Mat lab tools. There are different tools and techniques in DIP to make a high resolution image but the proper one is image interpolation techniques, in which we add extra rows and columns to the given small resolution image to make it high resolution. As we know that there are no of rows and column in a 2-D image mean there is matrix of an image. A high resolution image with more number of rows and columns and similarly a low resolution image have less number of columns and rows. Therefore in low resolution image there are less number of rows and columns. Thus we add that specific image with more columns and rows to make that image large by using Image Interpolation techniques. This is the most important and useful features of Digital Image Processing, and we can now make a large size image from old images which have been made in the early time.
We can also make our image quality more fine and good by using the special types of techniques in Digital Image Processing with the help of Mat Lab tool. The techniques named: Histogram Equalization and Histogram Specification use for this purposes. Besides these there are so many techniques use for this purposes like log technique, threshold, step size function techniques etc. By these techniques we can make poor and low quality images strong and can make them high quality. We can also recover the break image or corrupted image by using the techniques of Digital Image Processing. By applying such type of techniques, those parts of image which are dark will become bright and that parts which are more bright will become slightly dark thus our required image will come as an output of the input image.

Digital Image Processing made Human’s life simple and comfortable, today human being is benefit of using Digital Image Processing because it solved so many complexity and difficulties which were frequently raised in our daily life.
