In the last year and a half, Women's Annex and Film Annex opened 10 Internet classrooms and two Women's Annex Centers, in Herat and Kabul, Afghanistan.
Last week, we had the grand opening of the 10th Film Annex Classroom in Goharshad High School, Herat, Afghanistan, where thousands of young Afghan students were connected to the World Wide Web and introduced to the world of Digital Literacy and Social Media. In the next few days, our team from Herat will share with us new articles and videos about this new school and will put us in touch with the students using the infrastructures built for them by our team in Herat. Ehaha Mahoboob is our director in Herat in charge of this new project.

The students are our priority, their ideas and stories (#storytelling) are the focus of the project. We want to make sure that they are well connected to the rest of the world. Up to now, 40,000 students have been connected to the World Wide Web, and of those, 5,000 are working on the Examer Vocational and Educational Software. This generated an overall 2.5 million social media connections and a great quality of professional and semi professional digital content and information.
The students are our priority and we will make sure that you, along with leading journalists, thought leaders and philanthropists, get to know and meet each one of them through the world of social media, exchange ideas and “make things happen”.
The World of digital and social media is active on a 24/7 schedule. There are no holidays, there is no rest. It's a constant exchange of ideas, information, data, pictures, videos, #storytelling that gratify the best content creators and promoters based on their BuzzScore, a sophisticated but very accessible way to get educated and rewarded financially, combining Digital Literacy and Sustainable Education.
