Digital media is a term that defines many forms of communication and information. For me, it all starts with blogs and articles just like this one. A meaningful investment I have done on myself in the last 12 months was to write nearly 200 blogs and articles and include meaningful pictures, embed meaningful videos, link to meaningful external pages, and establish leadership on terms like Building Schools in Afghanistan:

That is also my business card:

Central and South Asia Education :

Central and South Asia Economy :

One day, Eren Gulfidan told me: “If we combine all your blogs and articles, we can publish a book.” That comment meant a lot to me.

Earlier today, I exchanged a few emails with Jon Pastor and Mike Sweeney about the Annex Press. They hint to the fact that my blogs are the point of reference to The Annex Press, in terms of quality and frequency. This was good and bad news, as it means that I need to push and improve the quality of the other writers. Later today, I will instruct Jon and Mike to remove from the Annex Press those that do not achieve the quality level that is expected, and to focus on those that are closer to us starting from our team in New York City, Kabul and Herat. I could have sent this by email in a casual format. I could have called in for a meeting in person. I decided to share those thoughts publicly so that they can be a reference for people within and outside my circle. I stand by what I say. It's time for others to step up and show me some serious writing skills.

Digital media is a way to communicate, just like language and traditions. It takes discipline and dedication. I am not the best at it, but I am dedicated to expose my thoughts and gather public feedback on this matter. Film Annex's dedication to the Afghan Development Project is moving towards new horizons and nice projects focused on the geographic area of Central and South Asia and the countries of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The work of the Afghan Development Project and Citadel of New York is focused on women empowerment. This is why the core of Film Annex and the Afghan Development organization is made by Turkish, Afghan and French women. They lead the conversation, the communication and manage the results. In particular, it's required of Afghan women to produce meaningful content about positive stories, starting from their own, happening in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Those stories, reported through videos, articles, and images, will also quantify the number of students registering on the Examer Educational Software and the number of tests taken by the students. They will report the results and growth in terms of educational skills and finally quantify the number of jobs and volume of income generated by our efforts in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Film Annex is my company. It's fueled by advertising revenues. I put my technology and investments at the disposal of my partners and coworkers to achieve and quantify the goals described above. It's now their responsibility to feed me quality videos and articles that match or surpass my vision, and educate the youth and the economies of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Roya Mahboob, Eren Gulfidan, Fereshteh Forough, Jennifer Bourne and Elaha Mahboob have mentored me on this global educational project. I am sure they can mentor millions of women and men in achieving the same goals. I'm looking forward to great articles, blogs and videos.
