Further to the ongoing debate on Homi Adajania and Deepika Padukone’s My Choice video, we now have Bollywood diva Sonakshi Sinha giving her opinion about it. As per a report in ndtv.com, Sonakshi says, "……. I believe empowerment should be given to the women who actually need it, who are kind of far away from where we are right now. We have been bred and brought up with luxury."

You’ve got that one right, sister! It is slightly pretentious to be talking of empowerment and choice sitting on the lap of luxury and privilege! While we realise that the video was made with good intent, the makers somehow got carried away with brand Vogue rather than figuring out a way to carry the message into the deep recesses of the country!
