I spoke to some young adults today that called themselves American Democrats. They gave me their opinion on ISIS and Syria and the problems in Russia. I admit I am not the most educated person on these issues.

Their overall opinion was, it’s not our circus, not our monkey. They said American should never fight anyone unless they were invading our country. Though they find the situation awful, they stand by their opinion. One of the young men was Jewish and when asked about the Holocaust, he said he would have felt the same way if he were alive then.

I asked him what he thought the world should do then, to help end the murder of thousands of innocent people. He said the President was doing the right thing. Not much...other than watch and wait. I am surprised by this “no war at any cost” attitude. Sometimes you have to defend yourself and others. Sometimes you have to stand up. But they said that was old fashion thinking...Hummm.

I am afraid our next army will be a group of really harsh letter writers! That’ll show em.
