When you buy new sneakers or shoes there are few bags in the box. Probably many of you throw them in the trash. But you are making big mistake because are wery useful around the house. These bags are filled with a substance called silicon dioxide. This non – toxic inert desiccant will dry out anything around.
The silica gel bags we often find in shoe boxes usually end up in the trash, just because we believe they’re completely useless and even toxic.

1) Put Them Between Towels:
You can put few of these bags in the towel cabinet and in that way you will prevent your towels from getting damp and smelling unpleasant.
2) Put Them In Your Gym Bag:
These bags are great when it comes to absorbing any extra moisture and protection of the item they are added to from growing bacteria or mold is the main purpose of these little packets. So, you can add one of these guys to your gym bag and they will eliminate dampness and germs. In the same time will freshit up because bacteria thrive in damp and moist environments. They can even remove a very foul odor.
3) Save Your Drowned Phone:
You should not despair if you drop your new phone in water and it gets wet. Try the same with silica bags instead of putting it in a jar of rice. It will be much more effective if you fill a jar with them and put your mobile in.
4) No More Foggy Car Windows:
We recommend you to put a bunch of these silica gel bags under your windshield from the inside immediately instead of waiting for your windows to defog, which in older car models can take forever.
