Law cannot reach them in most cases . Marriage becomes sometimes an institution of human and barbarous torture meted out of silent, patient wife by dominating husband for many of his demands like dowry, male child and so on. The laws should be strictly enforced without mercy. And the people should be made aware of laws. Again the victims should be given legal aid by the government so that they can come to the court to seek justice. But the most important is the women who should. Come forward to defend herself.   

 The women should be educated and equally qualified to cope with the men so that they are not discriminated by the men folk or in the-laws . Moreover, women should be conscious of their rights and responsibility.
