Nigel, Anderson and Andy were shooting in Liverpool yesterday at the Waste Water Treatment Works by the harbour, for a United Utilities video illustrating the process of the plant expansion, which is still a few years away from completion.
Anderson said "It was interesting to shoot on an active construction site, it's a different kind of filmmaking. You have to be constantly aware of your surroundings, and you can't just get every single shot you want from any angle. You have to stick within the health and safety guidelines. We got some great footage."
The crew were able to film on a scissor lift with the help of some workers. It lifted the three filmmakers 60 metres into the air. Andy commented: "It was great for shooting revealing shots of the site. It's a shame we couldn't take the lift back to the pond."
It will be an internal video for United Utilities, who have put £200 million into the treatment works enhancement.
