So here's my last blog regarding E3 games expo week, and what better way to end by talking about my most anticipated game for next year - Star Wars: Battlefront.

 

 

So last year at E3 2013, Electronic Arts, or EA as it's known to most, currently owns the rights to the Star Wars video game franchise - showed us an unexpected teaser trailer. This trailer was only about 30 seconds in duration, but it gave us everything we needed to know. Star Wars: Battlefront is coming back after 10 years of silence. EA was extremely quiet on details, but what matters most is that it said that DICE, the studio behind the 'Battlefield' Franchise is developing the new "Star Wars: Battlefront" game. I can't imagine any other studio that would be better suited for production of this game.

This year, they didn't really have much more to show us, but this is purely down to the fact that they have only been working on the game for about a year or so, and they still have a year or so to go before it's release. They had a great 2 minute trailer for us this year though to show us just how hard they're working to make this game incredible:

 

 

The trailer shows us their office in Sweden, with their staff hard at work on the much anticipated title. Lead Design Director Niklas Fegraeus voices the trailer, and makes it sound even cooler. As you can see by the image above, the early in-game footage looks truly remarkable. What most people will notice about DICE is that they are one of the most passionate studios of all time when it comes to games. They try to deliver the best work they can, and they manage to pull it off every time without fail.

 

Nothing else will really be announced until spring of 2015, so it's a long way-away yet. As a massive star wars fan however, I cannot wait.
