Eagle is known as the "king" of birds.The word eagle is derived from latin word aquila dark coloured as a reference to the plumage of eagle. Eagle are large,powerful with a heavy head and beak.It has large hooked beak for tearing flesh from their prey,strong muscular legs,and powerful talons.Eagles eye are extremely powerful having upto 3.6 times human activity.

     Habitat of eagle varied and its ranges all over the world except Newzeland and antartica.and the diet of eagle includes carnivores,reptiles,small mammals,fish,small birds.One of the fact about many eagle species is that it lays two eggs.Life span of eagle is almost about 35 years.
Eagle have a great fascination and inspiration for every one due to its leadership characteristics. 

     If we ever happen to see an eagle sitting on top of cliff of mountain we can see how attentive it is.The body sits still and the head will be tilted side to side to observe what is happening around,in short eagle have keen vision.Eagle will never surrender to the size of its prey.It will always give a fright to win its prey. Eagle never eat dead meat.it only eats the meat from the prey it kill itself in short it eats fresh meat. In storm eagles spread its wings and uses current to soar to great heights while other birds fly away because he love adventures.

     Eagles are known for their aggression but the most astonishing thing with this bird is their ability to nurture their young ones.Lots of research shows that no member of the bird family is more gentle to its young one then eagles.When the mother eagle sees that time for it to teach the eaglets to fly.she gathers her eaglet on to her back and spreads her wings.Suddenly she swoops out from under the eaglet,and allows it to fall.As it falls, it gradually learn what its wings are for until the mother catches it again..Eagle can fly up to altitude of 10,000 feet but able to swiftly land on the ground.

     Iqbal(the great Urdu poet) always relate youth with eaglebecause of its great capabilities such as keen eyesight,high flight,cleverness,never made nest,never eat dead meat and also the prey of other predator and fearless and like adventures like flying in storms.
 The most significant and the best known image in IQBAL'S poetry is that of eagle ;
"Live in the world like an eagle and like an eagle die "
