Little kids are absolutely terrible at eating ice cream in cones, which is what makes the act so delightful to witness. They don’t understand the concept of gravity: What does not get licked quickly, will fall. Or melting: A frozen solid will eventually turn to liquid. They don’t really care about where to start with a cone: Sometimes they start with the top. Sometimes they start with the bottom. And sometimes they simply lose their balance, resulting not in a spill ... but a splat.
