THE ELEPHANT is the largest animal . it is also strongest and strange looking animal with asmall eyes, thick legs , small tail , a huge back , large ears , and a long nose which is called trunk .

The trunk of elephant  perform various functions  like  it take up water from its trunk and through it over its whole body like a shower bath.. its also use its trunk for eating purpose. It pick up its food ( leaves , sugarcane,  etc)through its trunk aut them into its mouth . the trunk of  elephant serve as long arm.

The elephant has two kinds of teeth . one is used for eating purpose and other is used for decoration and is very expensive and precious.

The elephant is also worshipped by some people (hindus).

The elephant is also used in wars,  the people travel on elephant and fought with their enemies.

The elephant is very intelligent animal and when its intelligent is combined with  strength and when it is trained by  humans it is very useful animal. It carry thousand of load on its back. It is also used to pulled the cart or heavy machinary.

It is also used for hunting a tiger  . the hunters  are sitting on the back of elephant , due to sitting on hight the hunters  can see the tiger and fired at the tiger.

Elephant is very  dangerous animal, when it attasks. Its destroys the field of sugarcane. It is very shy animal and live apart  from humans.
