Emirates Airbus A380 In Manila

The Emirates Airbus A380 has arrived in Manila at Terminal 3 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on October 7, 3014 (Tuesday) at around ten o'clock in the evening (10:00 PM). This airplane is known as world's largest passenger aircraft. Airbus A380 was given a water cannon salute upon its arrival.

 

President Benigno Aquino III has personally welcomed the arrival of the aircraft with the passengers and crews headed by a Filipino pilot, Captain Franklyn Desiderio. He then later had a meeting with the officers of the Emirates Airline.

 

This event was in connection with the operations of Terminal 3 airport as one of the gateways to the international flights. The landing of the world's largest commercial airplane A380 has redeemed the pride of the Philippines after NAIA has been named by the US website The Cheat Sheet as one of the world's worst airports.
