A march led by descendents of the suffragette leader Emmeline Pankhurst is taking place in London as part of events marking International Women's Day.
The rally aims to show solidarity with women worldwide.
Doctor Helen Pankhurst is the great grand daughter of Emmeline Pankhurst, who led the movement to win the right for women to vote.
She said there was still ''much to be done'' in all walks of life for women.
