9.02 pm So New Zealand finish with 126 after winning the toss. Is it enough? I don't think so. India have the advantage of knowing what to get, so they can pace their chase accordingly. I dare say, if New Zealand knew the pitch was going to turn and grip so much, that their top order would have paced the innings differently. New Zealand have three spinners in their ranks but I reckon they needed about 140. Bumrah was outstanding for India, nailing his yorkers and changing his pace. As was Raina. They both finished with figures of 4-0-15-1.

I'll be back in ten minutes.

19.6
Nehra to Ronchi, 2 runs, another full toss to finish, Ronchi slaps it towards wide long off and they run the second to finish the innings
19.5
Nehra to Ronchi, SIX, a full toss! Ronchi meets it on the front foot and heaves it towards the cow corner boundary, it just clears the rope
19.4
Nehra to Ronchi, FOUR, in the blockhole from around the wicket, the batsman jams his bat down on the ball and inside edges it past short fine leg, Ashwin can't get to it

Pavan Trinath: "For all those people complaining about the pitch, NZ did really well against India's leading spinners. 58 for 1 in 8 overs. The main problem of NZ has been their inability to rotate the strike."

19.3
Nehra to Ronchi, 1 run, OUT, steps out of his crease to a full toss and hits it towards Dhawan at long on, it reaches the fielder on the first bounce and they risk a second! Dhawan fires the ball back at the bowler and Nehra breaks the stumps with Elliott's bat just short. Bullet throw from the deep

GD Elliott run out 9 (19m 12b 0x4 0x6) SR: 75.00
19.2
Nehra to Elliott, 1 run, in the blockhole outside off, Elliott moves back and outside the off stump, trying to flick behind square, but gets an inside edge on to the pad
19.1
Nehra to Ronchi, 1 run, nearly in the blockhole, the batsman makes room and slogs towards long on

Yashas : "To be fair to the pitch, it's also been good bowling, great fielding and a brilliant run out that has probably shaken this innings for NZ. Not to mention the mindless batting in the first 2 overs." Agreed.
