Dilshan: This knock was important for me, I needed some runs ahead of the World T20. Before this game, we tried too many things in the Power Play overs. Today, the plan was to just play normally. This wicket was a lot better than the previous ones. We knew if we had a good start, we could catch up later on. We're 10-15 short, but if we can field well, we can stop them.

So, Sri Lanka wouldn't be too disappointed with this, considering the kind of form their batsmen have been in coming into the game. The team management would be relieved to see Dilshan among the runs again, but the spark at the top was provided by Dinesh Chandimal. Pakistan looked lost for large parts of that innings, and the fielding was particularly disappointing. Afridi's body language didn't exude the kind of positivity you normally associate with him, but a win here could change all that. Can they cross the line tonight? Join us shortly for the chase

Wahab Riaz to Siriwardana, 2 runs, slower one outside off, he waits and waits and then thumps it into the gap at sweeper cover. Poor running, could have and should have tried coming back for the third
19.5
Wahab Riaz to Dilshan, 1 run, pulled, but straight to Iftikhar at deep midwicket
19.4
Wahab Riaz to Siriwardana, 1 run, mistimes a loft over cover, Wahab runs to his right to stop that but doesn't aim at the striker's end fearing an overthrow
19.3
Wahab Riaz to Dilshan, 1 run, has a big heave at that one, toe-ends it to midwicket
19.2
Wahab Riaz to Dilshan, FOUR, this time he does exactly that. Makes room, uses the width to slap it over point, no chance for the third man fielder
19.1
Wahab Riaz to Dilshan, no run, swing and a miss. Length ball outside off, he was better off going over point than have a swipe over midwicket
