Esteqlal Football Club has started its training and practicing from 2012 under supervision of Eng. Ebrahim Mahboob the club chairman with experienced trainers and cooperators of Afghanistan national team whom are: Mr. Zaher Hasani previous Afghanistan under-17 football team and the current Afghanistan national under-15 football team, member of Tolo TV to select Premier League players by financial supporting of Roshan Company, Afghanistan International bank and TOLO TV, Mr. Zelmai trainer of Afghanistan national team`s goalkeepers, Mr. Abdurazzaq keeping license D of football training, Mr. Ahmad Jawad Jamalzai who has FIFA certificate and sport diploma from Kabul university to make an ordered plan as soon as possible.
This club with its experienced team despite of short time could achieve to be one of 4 best teams in Kabul premier league.
Esteqlal FC has not got enough time to get preparation for Kabul premier league and the team official had no previous plan for the competitions therefore they faced with many problems to get prepared for the matches.
Esteqlal started its exercises and tried as hard as possible. Starting the competitions they could beat some famous teams such as Maywand, Pamir, Saramaisht, Urdu, etc. after the season break 2012 of Kabul football and playing three matches they scored 31 points from 12 matches and got the second place.
It would be interesting to mention some facts about the match with Urdu the last year’s champion.
Hard trying and good results that Esteqlal achieved got the team prepared for this important match, the team practiced as hard as possible, but unfortunately the team trainer traveled to Japan along with Afghanistan national under-15 football team, and this got the players a bit nervous about the match, but the club chairman Eng. Ebrahim Mahboob and the trainer assistant Abdurazzaq could get the best result.
The players were well-prepared and full of energy in the day, and could beat their competitor in a fantastic result 6-3, on this day the young players had great performance Zainuddin scored 4 goals, Amiruddin scored 1 goal, and Mohammad Ahmadi also scored 1 goal.
At the end of the match the team was appreciated by national Olympic committee, national federation of football and football fans. After the match team became more famous among people.
