I think it's just sad how far from innovation and cutting-edge thinking many Republican leaders have become.

While even the Pope has said that religious belief does not necessarily conflict with belief in evolution, we still have governors and congressional leaders who are split on the issue.

While the European Space Agency can land a probe on a moving comet, our Congress is now dominated by people who deny a majority of scientists that believe in man-made climate change. What has happened to this country? We once put a man on the moon. It's hard to believe that actually happened.
