Ever notice?

We all know that sometimes things just don't work out.  You get over it in time, but the disappointment often lingers.  I have observed geo-political events from a variety of perspectives over the years, and my disappointment lingers.  Politicians turn in performances that would get people hurt or killed in other lines of work.  Diplomats are some of the least diplomatic people I've ever seen or met!  Nations tussle in a morass of bad communication, ideological nonsense, and misunderstanding.  Worse still, the political elites seem to perpetuate this system for their own benefit.  They play class warfare games in order to preserve themselves as the ruling elite class in a pay-to-play system that locks out ordinary citizens.  It is precisely these ordinary citizens who often times have the best understanding, sympathy, and cooperative spirit to solve the problems of the world, but they are hopelessly hindered by the ruling class' narrow political interests.  No wonder things seem so disappointing.

The world needs concerned citizens who can re-imagine political discourse and diplomacy.  Good people from around the world who are educated, empowered and equipped to work together to solve these disappointments.  Social media and intent capabilities offer powerful new tools for such an effort, and I am excited by the prospects.  This channel is devoted to the people, ideas, and technology that will hopefully lead to an improved system of mutually beneficial discourse in our troubled world.
