Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a radio address on Sunday, asked people to have faith in his government on bringing back black money stashed in banks abroad.

"Please trust this Pradhan Sevak. This is my article of faith. It is my commitment. The money of the poor that has been taken away, every penny of it will be brought back," Modi said in his second Mann Ki Baat address on All India Radio.

He however said no one accurately knows the size of the black money.

"Neither my government nor the previous government knows how much black money is stashed aboard. Everyone has his own figure. But don't get confused by that. The money of the poor must come back,"
