Ex Knick Sues 1OAK NYC!

Posted on at

According to Bouncer Chronicles Ex New York Knick Chris Copeland is suing Chelsea hot-spot 1OAK, where he was stabbed last year by another club-goer. Copeland was partying at the West 17th Street nightclub on April 8, 2015 with Thabo Sefolosha, another NBA player. As he was leaving around 4 AM, Copeland got into an argument with Shevoy Bleary-Murdock. The criminal case is still pending against Murdock, but Copeland and then girlfriend Katrina Saltara are both suing the nightclub.

Their claims are the club's security allowed the slasher to bring in the spring-operated lock-blade and did not act fast enough when the attack occurred. Copeland suffered wounds to his abdomen and elbow. Saltara sustained permanent scars. The suit was filed last week in Manhattan Supreme Court
