Examination means a test of knowledge.It is a thing that students hate most.For majority of then it is a boring thing.Examinations have their uses and abuses.

     Though, examination is a bore thing for students but on the otherhand it id very useful and interesting thing for them.Through examination they can judge their abilities,memory and hidden talent.They can easily understand to face the hardships and challenges of time.Examination is a test of working power.It is by examination that we know what progress a student has made.They are a proof of the fitness of a student for a higher classea without examination we can't find out a suitable man for job.

     Examination reminds us to study properly it is the fear of examination that makes us to work.Many careless students grow serios near the examination.They try to be regular about half of the students in the college or school read for the sake of examination because

                "We can't direct the wind but we can adjust the sail"

     Through exams we understand how to face succes or failure.If a student fails but he manages it to learn from his mistake he may again find himself at the height of success.

          "Luck is what happens when preparations meet opportunities"

     Examinations have their dark sides also.This is a sad fact that the examination system in our country at present s very defective.The question set in the examination paper,test the memory rather than the intelligence of students.If a dull student is able to mug up a few important questions he gets good marks.

                             "If you work hard the result is easy.
                                 If you work easy result is hard"

    In our examination system no questions are set to test the basic intelligence of a student nor is his power of comprehension tested.It is simply his memory and the power to mug up a certain quantity of lessons,that is tested.

                   "In order to succeed we must first beleive that we can"

     Again the marking system adopted in our examination system is also very outdated.Students should be awarded garades according to their overhall acheivements during academic session.

     Examinations are no sure test of once ability.Many eminent persons of the world aren't holders of degrees but they prove themselves as the supreme beings Due to their knowlege,abilities and courage.
