A suicide bomber set off a powerful blast in a parking lot at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, one of the largest parks in the city of Lahore of Pakistan on Sunday evening, thus killing at least 69 people and wounding about 300. Jamaat-e-Ahrar, a splinter faction of the Pakistani Taliban, claimed responsibility for the blast. There was a lot of rush in the park due to Easter and a majority of the people were Christians.
