Before I created the animatic I also produced a series of moodboards, which highlight the adverts/films I was inspired by in terms of the following:
-Lighting
-Style
-Camera Angles
-Colour
-Effects & Compositing techniques
These items will need to be used to full effect to make my advert look great from a vfx point of view. So it's imperative that I incorporate them well. For lighting, it will need to be in daylight to show a student designing a logo idea in the park. It wouldnt make sense to film this at night! The style needs to be creative, so a park, a sketchbook, a student, 2D text floating around in the students head, etc. Camera angles help sell the advert if they're creative enough and use the right course of cinematography, so I need to check with my film crew if they're appropriate or need changing. Colour, well.. Colour is imperative obviously. Effects & compositing are what the advert's foundations will be, because the effects help sell it! These effects need to be planned out and correctly done.
I will be using these mood boards to help design/create the vfx for my advert:
