Animatic!
Today I have been building, animating and editing my 3D animatic. I decided to do both 2D and 3D animatics to show a better understanding of my idea. This also lets me set up more suitable camera angles to follow when it comes to filming. I decided to change the last camera angle when the logo is rendering. The reason for this decision was because I didn't like the 1st person shot of the sketchbook with the logo rendering. It didn't follow the rule of thirds whatsoever either, which had an impact on the quality of the shot. I decided instead to place the camera behind the subject & bench, panning slowly to the left, showing the logo rendering. I can then rotoscope the logo and make it seem just that bit more realistic. Pre-vis is now complete, so I can now move on to starting production!
