Giving fans a glimpse into what they could expect from “Fast and Furious 7,” actor Vin Diesel recently posted a photograph of him training for the movie on his Facebook account.
The picture, which has since amassed more than 900,000 likes on Facebook, shows the actor swinging on metal poles with Tony Jaa, who is the latest addition to the cast of “Fast and Furious 7.”
Earlier, Diesel had posted a picture of him sharing screen space with the late Paul Walker, who was a key cast member in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. Besides Walker and Diesel, the picture also has two other members of the “Fast and Furious” family, Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson.
In a recent interview with Buzzfeed, Diesel, real name Mark Sinclair, said that the demise of Walker was one of the darkest moments of his life.
“I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different… I’ve been acting all my life and they don’t teach you in acting, how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they’re in a scene with you,” Diesel told the website.
Speaking about his experience filming the movie without Walker, Ludacris told XXL magazine that “It was definitely difficult, but at a certain time, we all came together and understood.”
“We was 75 percent done before his untimely death. Us coming back together was definitely hard but there was also an understanding that we were going to finish this movie because that’s what he would have wanted us to do. Continue his legacy and leave an extremely huge mark with this film.”
As for the plot of the seventh instalment, a number of websites claim that it will focus on revenge. “Fast and Furious 6″ ended with the death of Han, and Jason Statham was revealed to be the main culprit. Cinema Blend predicted that Dom and Brian, the roles essayed by Diesel and Walker respectively, will go after the man who killed Han.
