FA:  Can you tell us about yourself and your sport background?

IM: I was born in 1984 and earned my bachelor in Civil Engineering faculty  of Kabul University. I run my business in Construction and logistic services. I am owner of Esteqlal football and futsall club. I am working with the federation of Futsall club in Afghanistan. I was trainer of Football for 7 years. Since during the schools. I managed every thing.


FA: Can you tell us about Esteqlal Football Team and the philosophy behind it?

IM: Esteqlal Football and futsall were found in 2002 In Kabul. Esteqlal is the number 2 in the premier league in Kabul. Well the football club is more important than anything else to me.    It is also a goal to achieve my success in my life.


FA: What motivates you to become the Esteqlal team Trainer and owner?

IM: I was born with love of football. I think,  that my team is my home.  I always have had a dream to have a football club by myself to manage it and tobe successful in the league.


FA: Do you use social and digital media for promoting your team? If yes, how so?

IM: Yes, since the film annex became partner with Esteqlal club. We started using of digital media for advertising. As you see now, we have 27k in FB and I could find two good players through that. I am really happy to use the digital media to my team.  I wish,  that I could use it earlier.


FA: Where do you see the future of developing countries like Afghanistan? Do you think that sports and social media can help improve their economy and education system?

IM: I see, that there is peace in  Afghanistan  and a good place for economic investors.  Yes, I think, that Social Media can play an important role for Education and Economy, in developing countries like Afghanistan. It is new tools, which Afghans must know about it and use it.


FA: What do you think of Film Annex's initiatives in Afghanistan?

IM: I think, Film Annex did a great job in short time than others in Education and sport section in Afghanistan. They bring lots of opportunities to improve the life style of female students and players. It is new tools, that everyone once find it, then won’t, leaves it.


FA: As a successful Football Team owner and athlete, what advise would you give to young women in Afghanistan and other developing countries?

IM: If developing countries want to have a peaceful country and develop at important sectors, they have to encourage, that women and men work together with equal rights.


FA: How are education and sports an important factor for women's independence and self esteem?what do you think?

IM: Yes, Education can bring changes in the Afghan Women’s life style and improve their knowledge, skills and make them independent.

FA: Are you or your team a “Thought Leader”? In what subject or what topic?

IM: Yes, I am couch and leader in Football.


FA: What keywords best define your leadership?

IM: Well my leadership is, that how to influence on my players to do the jobs. And its Like directing them
