Fereshteh from NYC, Christmas holidays- Enjoying Central Park nature

Posted on at

Christmas holidays have been started some days ago and every body is happy to have more free time to be with family and friends and celebrate it together.  It is my first Christmas in NYC.  Before  holiday, the city was so crowded, everybody did lots of  shopping and buying many gifts.

A lot of Christmas musics and  tress with beautiful blinking colorful lights gave a new face to the city.

But it seems that Christmas holidays came sooner than here to my city "Herat", as they had a very heavy snow and the city turns to white within a night.

During the holiday I had the chance to go out and explore the city more. I went to Central Park ,it was a nice place with an amazing view with the mixture of the city and nature itself. The weather was sunny and everything looked perfect for a joyful walk around the park.

Beside that I published three interviews of those who have worked in different projects for Afghanistan.  Wynona HeimHodei Sultan and Alessandro Farao’ They shared with me their very successful experiences specially in Women Education, Training and Empowerment.

This week I did not have that much work load as it is holiday time, so I wish everyone a very happy new year ahead full of joys success :)
