Avanca has also succeeded in becoming the largest audiovisuals workshop space in Europe in the past 15 years. This year, Avanca invited ÉCU Festival Manager Kädi Lokk to the festival to serve on its jury board! Renowned for serving as an international meeting ground for cinema, television, video and multimedia, Kädi is eager to see the film talent that awaits her in Avanca, Portugal! Day 1 Numerous awards were handed out to the winners of the 2010 festival at Avanca’s opening night soirée, July 20th.
