KARACHI: Widening the scope of inquiry, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has decided to grill those holding PH.D degrees of Axact accused of running global fake degree empire, Samaa reported Tuesday.

According to Samaa correspondent, the FIA authorities have decided to call Axact’s PH.D degree holders in connection with the investigation.

Sources said hundreds of people, including some prominent intellectuals, possess fake Axact degrees.

Axact CEO Shoaib Sheikh, along with the company's six directors, is under custody of FIA that is recovered thousands of blank diplomas during fresh raids on Axact offices.
