In The Hurricane Express, John Wayne stars as Larry Baker, an airplane pilot whose father is killed in a train crash caused by a villain called “The Wrecker.” The serial was one of the first acting gigs for Wayne who started his career in 1930 with The Big Trail. The Hurricane Express was a Mascot Pictures production. The Great Alaskan Mystery produced by Universal Pictures has an ensemble cast, including Milburn Stone, Edgar Kennedy, and Marjorie Weaver. The serial tells the story of several government agents who fight against Nazi spies to stop them from using their new futuristic weapon Paratron. Both serials are available for free viewing, and the users do not have to log in to Film Annex to watch the episodes.
