FILM ANNEX MIAMI PROJECT

NEW YORK, March 4, 2009 – Film Annex, an online film promotion and distribution company and networking platform for the film industry, announces that it will be documenting this year’s Miami International Film Festival from March 6th through March 15th. For nine days, the Film Annex film crew will be accompanying the festival’s director Tiziana Finzi, the only non-American festival director in the United States, and will be recording interviews, panels, receptions, and parties in order to capture the most exciting and key moments of the festival. The acquired footage will be presented on Film Annex’s online platform.
With this project, Film Annex will not only be assisting Miami Film Festival with the broadcasting of this major event, but will also present an uncut, informative, and entertaining version of this footage to its audience of filmmakers, students, and film enthusiasts. Some of the names that will be attending the festival and appearing in Film Annex’s series of documentaries will include Adrien Brody, Abel Ferrara, Willem Dafoe, and Valentino Garavani of Valentino.
“We plan to reach 30 million people worldwide in March. After the festival, we will create a series of documentaries and target reaching 100 million people in 2009 with our footage, ” said Francesco Rulli, the president of Film Annex who will also be giving a presentation on Online Film Promotion and Distribution during the festival.
Film Annex will collaborate with Miami Film Festival and Miami Dade College in the production of this project to acquire the best quality footage and reach as many filmmakers and celebrities as possible through out the festival.
