Just in Case by Joshua Frankel
How much longer can we ignore the threatening effects of global warming? In this short animation, filmmaker Joshua Frankel gives us a glimpse of the possible disastrous consequences that comes along with refusing to take action against global warming in a witty, humorous way. Just in Case is part of ARTPORT's Cool Stories II Project.

*FEATURED FILMMAKER: JOSHUA FRANKEL
Joshua Frankel is a filmmaker, animator and visual artist who grew up in New York City. Originally trained in painting and drawing, in 2001 Frankel began creating animation and visual effects, mostly for TV commercials. Four years later, Frankel made his first short film, Bicycle Messengers, which fused the aesthetics of his paintings and drawings with photo-real visual effects techniques.
In 2008 Frankel was commissioned to create a series of short films and animations for Barack Obama's presidential campaign. Frankel has also created animation for three Hollywood blockbusters, two musicals and an opera. His art has shown in galleries in London, New York and The Berkshires. His films have shown in festivals around the world.
