Have you heard about The War of Films yet?
The War of Films is Film Annex’s new initiative to help filmmakers promote and advertise their films online in the most effective way possible. It is a film contest that calls viewers to vote on their most and least favorite films on Film Annex’s network.
Each month, Film Annex will reward the most popular film on its platform with $1000. And each day, the most active voter will receive $25.

Black Santa by J. The Savage
Black Santa is an animated music video—surely to be a holiday hit—by Jamie Bernstein and Michael Wyshock. The song Black Santa is part of Jamie Bernstein’s debut album Tree of Life, which contains two anti-war anthems along with statements of anti-racism and anti-classicism. The drawings in this short film were done by Jamie Bernstein himself, and the animation is the work of the artist Michael Wyshock.

Micro Films Web TV showcases the work of London-based filmmaker Claudia Tomaz who is also a cinematographer, editor, and teacher. Tomaz is the mastermind behind many films, including two full-length features, Nights (the winner of the Critic’s Week Award at the Venice Film Festival, 2000) and Us, which was awarded at the Locarno Film Festival. Tomaz is also a world traveler and performance artist. In 2006, she founded Holon Film Lab and has been making digital films with the aim of creating a holistic, organic and quotidian art.
