The Launch of Abel Ferrara TV
We're happy to announce the launch of www.abelferrara.com, a Web TV channel broadcasting the acclaimed film director Abel Ferrara's videos, such as excerpts from his films, news about his latest projects, and more. We launched this Web TV in collaboration with Ferrara with the mission to make it the "go-to" website for viewers who want to get the latest updates on his new projects and have access to his older work, including the first films he has ever made!

Don't Miss the New York Documentary Film Festival by Festival dei Popoli
The 3rd Annual New York Documentary Film Festival is almost here! A part of an ongoing project of Festival dei Popoli, NYDFF starts on May 26th at the Anthology Film Archives, and Film Annex is a sponsor!
Festival dei Popoli is the oldest International Documentary Film Festival in Europe. The five-day event will feature four programs of auteur documentaries, with a total of eighteen films depicting reality and history as filtered through the deeply personal aesthetics of very different directors.

Juliane Block emigrated from Germany to Asia in 2005 to pursue a career in international cinema. After living in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she settled in Jakarta, Indonesia (for now). Her goal is to create entertaining movies full of action for an international audience.

Could This Be Love? is a short film from 1973 by the acclaimed film director Abel Ferrara. The film tells the story of two wealthy women who struggle to find true happiness and satisfaction in life. This early work explores the relationship between social class and behavior, a theme that Ferrara repeatedly studies in his later films like Bad Lieutenant.
