There has always been a pretty clear distinction between the Hollywood auteurs like Woody Allen and Stanley Kubrick whose films were appreciated because of their artistic vision and the directors of certain blockbusters that are sure to bring the studios billions of dollars.

It seems like the Hollywood studios these days are wary of some auteurs who not only have the grand artistic vision that will blow their audiences’ minds away but are also capable of making the studios richer. However, as usual there are some controversies between the studio chiefs and these auteurs who are determined to produce visually and contextually spectacular works.

Take a look at what’s going on with today’s most imaginative auteurs in Hollywood and how the studios think these movies are going to make in the box office. He attacks patrons, a harem dancer, the singers Dot and Dash, and a fire-eater.
