How many types of purity are there?

There are two kinds of impurities, first the impurities that we can see with our eyes which we will discuss in this lesson, and second the impurities that we cannot see with our eyes.

How many type of visible purities are there?

Visible impurities are of two types, 'Khleeza' those that will require us to clean even when presents in very small quantities and 'Khafifa'.. Those that we require to clean when in a larger quantity.

Are both visible purities in the state of solid and liquid?

Both types of visible impurities ( Najasat e khaleeza ) are found in solid and liquid states.

Visible impurity galiza are the solid and liquid wastes of the human bodies, that is pupu, urine, vommit, blood, pus ect. and solid waste, pupu and liquid waste, urine of animals whose meat is haram for us to eat, eg dog pupu and dog urine, and also the solid waste of animals who's meat is halal for us to eat, eg pupu of the cow and pupu of goats.

What are the example of Khafeefa?

Visible waste Khafeefa includes the solid waste of birds that are haram for us to eat meat of eg. Eagle , and liquid waste, urine of animal that are halal for us to eat the meat of, eg. urine of the cow and urine of goat.
Solid waste of birds that are halal for us to eat, does not require for us to clean.

How can we identify Najasate Khalleeza?

Solid Najasat khalleeza if less than the weight of a dirham, or less than three grams in weight, it is sunnat to clean, if equal to the weight of a Dirham or equal to three grams is wajib to clean, but if larger than a Dirham that is heavier than three grams it is farz for us to clean.

How can we identify Najasate Khaleeza?

Liquid Najasat e khleeza, depending on the size of the soaked area compared to the size of a dirham (in this case the amount of water that can be held in a persons palm.) If the soaked area is less than a Dirham size then it is sunnat to clean it, if it is the same size as a Dirham then it is wajib for us to clean it, but if the soaked area is larger than the size of a Dirham in size it becomes Farz for us to clean it.
Solid (impurities) Najasat e khafifa, if it effects less than a fourth part of the body part, it is sunnat for us to clean, if equal to a fourth part of the body part it becomes wajib for us to clean, and if it is more than one fourth of a body part then it becomes Farz for us to clean.
Liquid Khafeefa impurities are deal with in same way as the solid Khafeefa impurities.
