Korea is situated to dispatch its first locally created, multi-reason satellite into space in a couple of months.
The Korea Aerospace Research Institute says the Arirang 3a, created by Korean organizations in collaboration with the establishment, will launch from a dispatch site in Russia right on time one year from now.
The one-ton satellite is furnished with optical and infra-red sensor cams that will empower Korean specialists to see high-determination pictures of Earth, even during the evening.
Researchers say, once sent, the satellite will work for the following four years.
