Recently, I uploaded this video:
I think, this takes a bit of explaining... of course its not a masterpiece of film making, or even anything exciting to watch... BUT.... I think this is certainly something you want to watch if you're a fan of Andy Parker, or Amy Hill's work!
In this film... you can see the film makers first go at directing. Amy directed the first scene 'Dodgy Man in park'. And Andy directed the last scene- "boy on bike'!
These films were made in November 2007... just over 2 years before their fantastic hits, At first sight, Notice, Kyle and Rush.
I think its aspiring to any film maker, that you can direct your first tiny little sketch, with no experience or much of an idea to do it, and two years later direct such stylistic and advanced pieces... I even had a go myself at directing! Mine was... 'Running Man', which was actually Andy Parker himself!
In the film I think you can see hints of the filmmakers that would emerge. Amy's love of realism and grit, and Andy's little Rainbow, and dream like shots.
I thought I should upload it, for perhaps some inspiration to new film makers, or just as a giggle, whichever you would prefer to see it as... but it was great fun to make, and we learnt loads in the process!
