54 people have been killed over the last two days in Nepal due to floods and landslides triggered by monsoon rains. In addition to it, at least 20 people are reported to be missing. The government of Nepal has launched rescue and relief operations in 14 of Nepal’s 75 districts that have been affected by the floods. The situation is still serious in eight districts where the road links have been cut by the flood waters. The administration is trying its best to reach the affected people.
