Flower symbolizes beauty  and purity .Flower cultivation was done in Bangladesh as hobby .But recently people cultivate flower commercially . It is profitable . Not always but quite a few people cultivate flowers commercially and they survive . It means that they can earn their livelihood by cultivating flowers . Yes , though they are not making a lot of money , these follower cultivators can earn a decent livelihood from cultivation of flower . Some people also earn their living bi selling flowers . There is a gradual increase in the selling of flowers in Bangladesh . In Dhaka selling flower is not a bad profession . Now a days flower is used widely in different social and cultural functions like marriage , birthday , and meetings . So in dry season this sort of functions is held more widely than the other seasons. So ,  in  winter and dry season flower selling increases .
